Wherever you are is exactly where you're supposed to be.

I’ve fully embraced the concept that wherever I am is exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I look at friends who have traveled Europe extensively, and I think oh wow, I should be doing that. But I don’t really have the desire to do that! At least not right now.

Many of my friends consider home ownership a major life goal. I think maybe I should want that, too. But I never have! I like renting! I like being mobile and having the ability to turn on a dime and pick up and go wherever my job takes me. It’s freed me up to live in some pretty exciting places, including Honolulu!

Who’s to say my life path, my life choices, are better or worse than yours? People can impose that message on me, but I reject it. My path is my path. My life is my life. I chart my own course.

I owe no one explanations and I certainly owe no one an apology for being single. And that’s regardless of whether I’m single unintentionally or single by choice.

No one has the right to make you feel less than for being exactly who you are.

Don’t make the mistake of buying into that. Because wherever you are is exactly where you’re supposed to be.

“The game is to be where you are. Be it honestly and as consciously as you know how.” -Ram Dass
