It’s been almost a month and Smoky is settling in with me and Tabitha quite well.
Although we don’t know what happened, because Smoky was on the streets for a couple of years, he experienced severe trauma to the left side of his head. That resulted in his eye having to be removed. Now he’s having chronic ear problems on that side, and will likely need an operation in order to live out his life in comfort.
I need to raise some money for his operation, and I’m not sure where to start. A GoFundMe on Facebook might pull in a few hundred, but I’m guessing his surgery will cost several thousand. I need ideas on how to kick off a serious funding campaign.
I’d like to create an Instagram for Smoky, but although he’s quite photogenic, he wouldn’t put up with any fussing. I sincerely doubt he’d tolerate wearing a kitty pirate patch. He’s a laid back guy that mostly sleeps. Furthermore, I wouldn’t know where to start creating an Instagram for him. If anyone would like to help me with that, please please, let me know.
